Of mushrooms and Mechbots

Finally, the kit of explorers arrived to Albali and Sielus. They are now officially Hunters and Explorers and their team together is called "The Renewers". Albali, being a self-taught and licenced Flighter, was already known around the Request Centrat for her skills, and Sielus was also well know for the very opposite of his mentor.

But those are not important details, now they dedicated their lives to help trolls in need. between the pack they got 2 ascots, a bag for useful items and a pair of Pagers so anyone who needed the services of explorers could send in a message their request. Said that, they are impatient to start and adventure!

Now that they are a team and Albali was training Sielus to be a Flighter, the firsts thing is to get him a Mechbot. But is hard to find anyone willing to built it from scratch so they decided to get pieces of various that might be lying around all Alternia and make one themselves for the Violet guy. For now they where waiting to get their first job request, and use the exploring as excuses to get the pieces as well.

Sielus sat on the deck of the Airship kitted out in his new Renewer gear, armoured brown coat, wet suit and Ascot, it felt snug on his neck but thankfully he didn’t have gills there to obstruct.


Letting out a board sigh, he lent back against the guard rail and looked at his pager, so he was really a renewer now, helping others and being heroes, well that sounded fine and dandy, but would anyone really post jobs for he and Albali? He didn’t voice this concern to his partner, but with how self-centred and cruel society is, would they really get a job that wasn’t a ploy to attack or rip off another troll? Effectively corrupting the goal the two of you set out to accomplish?

You want some of those precious fungi for the darkest part of your hive and use them like source of light instead of those boring candles... BUT, as it was mentioned before, you really really NEED help. Where to start? Where you can find the help you need? Where... Of course! Take your always useful beeper and look for qualified trolls for your quest.

... This is not working at all. You can't find nothing, nothing at all. Stupid and useless beeper. Maybe you should throw it and... wait. "The Renewers"? That's a silly name. "The Renewers", who would name their organization "The Renewers"? But the name wasn't the only reason to pay attention to this adversiment. Apparently this people had the mission of help the contractor in whatever they ask for. Perfect. Exceptional. Perfect. Just the people you were looking for. You quickly start to write them a message.

You were fishing sky fauna, whatever you could actually catch. Orcamom and Serpentdad as usual were having a discussion like married couples do... Whatever that means cos you're a Troll and you have no idea what marriage is.


You had gotten just a bunch of fish when your Pager made a sound... What!? Is that true? Did you get an actual mission? Maybe is just a memo of the many Request Central use to send...

But you were mistaken, it was an actual request! You jump from your little chair in happiness

In your happiness, you hugged your apprentice and ran like crazy into the main room of your hive. This was going to be a day.

Despite her lack of physical strength, albali was rather scary when she was excited about something, when your partner released you from her grip and ran inside, you were practically thrown overboard in her enthusiasm, causing you to cling to the guard rail for dear life.


After climbing back on board you sigh and collect your pager off the deck floor and follow your captain inside, with a small grin of your own, this seemed like what you were waiting for, and actual mission.

First thing to take with you when it comes to adventure: a cute outfit. If you are going to success or either die in a dangerous place, at least you want to wear fine clothes! That includes your beautiful jade bow. This time you can't bring Rosebelle with you. The rose would complain about everything, also the creatures in the cave (IF the cave has creatures inside) would probably damage the precious flower. You won't let anyone to hurt your flower best friend.

Well, just take a lamp and go to the cave. The workers from the "The Renewers" should be waiting for you in the entrance of the cave, after all is their job help you with whichever you need for the search of the famous glowing mushroom. If they reject your request... well, screw them. But that's impossible, they have to reason to reject such wonderful and exciting searching. Glowing mushrooms are a precious miracle of nature. So unique. So special. So... useful and beautiful.

After a long walk, you finally arrive to the cave's entrance. You sit in a fallen tree trunk, waiting for the help. Well, maybe you can read the info about the cave while your workers appears...
