AU events

- The event will be held at our ever adorable parp chatroom --> http://unsupported.msparp.com/chat/OneSweepStand
- It will run during ALL saturday and sunday, 24 hours.
- Our characters will all be humans WORKING as a team at an Animal Sanctuary that doubles as a pet adoption center. Here, they rescue exotic pets from malnourishment and keep them at the sanctuary until they get better, while domestic animals like cats and dogs go up for adoption.
- The Sanctuary's name is of course One Sweep Stand.
- Everyone is free to choose which job they will be taking at the adoption center.

ANCESTOR AU

2nd Event: ANCESTOR AU
Good morning everyone! We hope you enjoyed the adoption center AU from last time! :D
This weekend's event is going to be an ancestor AU! Yes, we all will be playing as our troll's ancestor this time! :B
►It'll be held at parp --> http://unsupported.msparp.com/chat/OneSweepStand
►For storytelling purposes, all the ancestors will be interacting inside a dreambubble, both alive ones (dreaming) and dead (ghosts) ones.
►People who are still undecided on their ancestor's story, but already have their personality written out, will be able to interact with everyone more easily this way, since dreambubbles allow "memory loss" while you realize you are dead/asleep.
►It will last during ALL of Saturday and Sunday too!
►Regarding troll building, keep in mind ancestors usually go for 8 letter names (sometimes they have more than one word or two titles) with few exceptions (such as juggalos, because clowns in homestuck seem to be a rule-breaking constant), and they share their aspect (but never the class!) and blood color with their descendant.
You are all free to send administrators and moderators a PM in case something wasn't clear, adding your ancestor's story/drawings to your respective bios, and look for potential partners to share your ancestor's story and tangle with each other. Have fun!

Trickster AU

This event is back in full force: it has converted the WHOLE FORUM into a tricksterified version of itself and it won't go away until the event is complete!!! BEWARE THE TRICKSTER AU!
This will be a surprise event. Meaning? That we don't know when it will strike! It could be anytime, seriously. Well, tricksters sure like to toy around a lot!!
The event will begin at random one day, when admin Aryane Metoid is the first one being tricksterified, spreading the plague. PLEASE DO NOT BEGIN UNTIL THE ADMIN IS THERE. Once Aryane has been converted, you all can post freely and join however you want to. This event will allow foreplay, whoever, we aren't so sure about adding the whole smut due to. REASONS. Seen below. Once the event starts, the players will be asked if they want smut to be allowed or not, and based on this premise, the whole event shall run. If you are tricksterified, the following rules will begin to apply to your character:- trickster character behavior:
☺ All tricksters can fly, and the power levels of a character will be set at over 9000. (A zillion hella powerful). However, tricksters do NOT care about using their powers, all they care about is spreading happiness, like mascots in a child's tv show.
☺ Tricksters wear bright colors and have some sort of sweet stuck in their hair, like a little hat.
☺ Your trickster troll will lack any sense of sadness, depression, insecurity, anxiety, jealousy and such, and won't process negative situations as such. Not even a break up. They will also act really confident, honest and happy all the time. The only thing that can BRIEFLY affect a trickster is surprise, but after that it will return to his happy mood.
☺ Your trickster will begin to actively chase persons of their affection and trying to turn them into tricksters as well because THEY ARE. SO. HAPPY. And they want to share THE HAPPINESS with the trolls they love!! and the loved ones of their loved one too!! Because that's like happy x100000!!!
☺ This also means your troll will lack any sense of personal boundaries (they will confess their undying love, kiss, hug, and even FONDLE) and won't be able to tell when someone is terrified of them. Any attempts at making them understand common sense will be futile, and dismissed as "weird lol". If they are confessed to, kissed, hugged or fondled by someone they like, or if someone they like encourages it, they will gladly accept and return these displays of affection.
☺ Tricksters see no problem in poligamia and orgies (this is exactly why we aren't sure on allowing the whole smut act), or starting relationships with more than one person. THEY WILL, HOWEVER, CALL DIBS ON THE PERSON THEY LOVE THE MOST! They will want to be the first ones kissing, hugging and fondling them, maybe even wanting to take their virginity first, seeking buckets to pail, or have "a zillion little grubs" with them. Other tricksters respect these and there are no problems in setting "an order" when more than two people are interested in the same person.
Trickster mode works for a limited amount of time, and so it will in this event. Your character will wear out of sugary infection after some time (depending on how fast they digest things, that's up to you, the player), and WILL keep the memories of what happened, reacting accordingly and normally. However, he can be infected again if another trickster finds and infects him. The event will develop in a meteor similar to the one the trolls were stuck at. Tricksters know exactly where to find people that aren't infected (they are like really happy zombies) and can see them even if they are a void player. The only aspects that WON'T act like a trickster, even when infected, are HEART and MIND. Everyone else IS and WILL be affected. The event will last two days, and the last one will be reserved for the BIG HANGOVER. No more tricksters, only memories and regret and buckets everywhere and "omg why did i do that" situations. 4th Event: Fantasy Creatures AU
Next weekend's event at parp is going to be a fantasy creatures AU! You can read it all in the pages of the chat.
The setting is in a magical forest, during the night of the summer solstice. We will make sure to be near a deep lake for aquatic creatures and tall trees for flying ones. (don't worry about sweet or salt in the water, IT'S MAGICAL OK you can survive). Ancient cultures used to believe that the night of the summer solstice was the night where the magical world was at it's peaking, strongest point, managing even to merge and connect with the human realm. To avoid contacting other humans during the summer night and risking being seen, all the creatures are going to hide in the same place: yes, they are basically all strangers bundled up together at the same time. Unable to leave for hours. Go make friends and talk to others while the dangerous midsummer night is over! In this AU, all the trolls will be a half-human fantasy creature of sorts. You decide which one you want to be turned into: a mermaid? a satyr? an harpy? a gorgon? a vampire? fairies? angels? It's up to each user. Haunted Orphanage AU

- Background:
This AU takes place in a haunted orphanage, all of the characters are humans. The ancestors work in the orphanage taking care of the kids in one way or another using the different rooms of the orphanage (check the maps below).
- Plot (construted):
Julie and Callum's grandparents founded an orphanage when they were more or less 36 years old. When Julie and Callum were young they lost their parents in an accident so their grandparents adopted them and they become siblings, they feel there's something wrong with them but since they are kind with them, they ignore the feeling and continue living with them. They decide to let them live in the orphanage along with the other kids and there they slowly realize there is indeed something wrong with their granparents and some of the workers there: they kill some of the kids so they don't have to spend much money in them.
Julie and Callum got some of their friends together, Irina, (name) and (name), that way they got rid of the workers and their grandparents by killing them and taking control of the orphanage, all of them swore to keep the secret and continue to work in that place taking care of the children.
