Another Day (Open)

You feel like a complete jerk. Aryane probably wouldn't want to be your friend anymore after learning about how you met Aarush. You return her smile with one of your own.

When Theiyw starts talking about Aarush's hive you start to look around at it a little bit more. It did look nice and for a troll who had been living one his own it was pretty well kept. It probably had more than your large dome-shaped have back in the marsh. You simply nodded politely as the others complimented his home.

The talk of abandoned caves brought back your voice. Aband0ned caves? With treasures, as well? The inhabitants must've left in a hurry. A smile forced itself onto your face as you imagined all the things you could find here. You wondered if Aarush would let you map out this place, he was very protective of you, but you could take care of yourself.

You are sort of at a loss as to why Aarush didn't take offense at your 'cave' comment. Typically living in caves was something not to be all that proud of, but looking around you realize that aside from the strange broken picture frame and the fact that its owned by a now-hungover troll, it's not all that bad. Of course, you're not the one to be making judgement on other troll's hives, since you're not exactly the owner of one yourself. Not that you want to be.

Abandoned caves. Gee, great. You're obviously jumping for joy, although not really because this entire planet is riddled with abandoned stuff because of the rate trolls just keep dying. The only abandoned cave you found interesting was the cave that other trolls would have probably called your ancestor's, but which you only called 'that place I found this really cool weapon' in reference to your hammer.

You don't like thinking about ancestors. It ties you down too much, like you've actually got something you have to do to make them proud.

"Alright, well. This sure is fun. Caves, great." You say, unamused.

You sorta want to thump the blue blood on the head. Not hard, just in a sort of 'stop being a smart-ass' way but, you don't know him like that. So instead you turn to Ducita.

It happens. Well at the top of the mountain ya got the Carnival of the Wicked Ones and there are some tunnels that connect up top to other caves down here. There were some bad raids a couple of sweeps back. Some lowblood made it up to the Carnival peak and took something or other from the Alter of Paint. Shit went crazy, had to keep folk up in my hive to keep them safe. Most folk moved on after that. There are still a couple of Older Worshipers on the mountain, too old to be on Fleet yet too important to cull. There is still plenty of pick'ens.

You can't help but smile at Ducita's curiosity, it's something that you like about her, the desire to explore, you can understand it pretty well, it makes you remember about the time you met her, it was also in a cave, there was also where your pale-crush started, it's kind of ironic to think that it is in a cave where you are being rejected... You should seriously stop thinking about that, you'll fall to pieces if you don't, and as a seadweller you must keep calm in front of everything and everyone, even though you don't really care about it at all.

Since you're really clumsy you don't get the sarcasm in Theiyw's voice so you take for granted that he likes exploring as you do, maybe you could ask him out on an adventure when you get to know him better, he looks like someone nice when you're friends with him, so you'll try. You pay attention at Aarush's explication, but you don't really get most of it, you've read books about their cult or religion but they don't have a lot of information so you're confused about it -So, there's still other trolls leaving at this mountains?- you ask, if there is, then it isn't probably a good idea to explore around here.

Oh. Well. You think you're going to rethink your excitement to chart this entire mountain. Maybe just the lower regions? Yeah, that sounds plausible. The Carnival must be why whatever was following you earlier backed off when you climbed in the mountains. When you actually do get to explore this place you would have to be very careful and hopefully not steal anything.

You notice the lack of enthusiasm in Theiyw's voice, it doesn't surprise you. Each troll had their own interest. So instead of being upset or insulted you want to know what Theiyw finds entertaining. You would ask, but you'd rather not interrupt Aryane. You simply glance over at Theiyw and hunch your shoulders with a small smile as a silent way to tell him you get it. Aryane's question was really important and you guess you disregarded the fact of other trolls.

You don't want to think about the Carnival that Aarush mentioned, but it must be a good location for that too.
